== Overview ==

The intermediate point for the quest {{Icode|Parlayed a deal between the demons and the gnomes to get the mines operating again.}}. The above ground section is ''not'' instanced, Kentwig in particular is a quest giver so it's not very kind to kill him as this can block progression for other players. The cave section and its connected areas contain a huge amount of useful equipment

== Notes ==

* Bubblebutt the healer is a cleric sellspell who can cast level 11 bolster, remove poison, refresh, and sanctuary for a price.
* Entering the caves for the first time the monsters in this area will not be aggressive if you stick to the path pointed out by the arrows. If you deviate from that path they will alert the entire area to become aggressive.
* Immediately after entering the cave the section leading downward leads to the copper mine section of the caves with the walls heavily laced with azurite, a copper ore.
* Old miner's carts strewn around the caves can contain randomly generated ores and minerals for smelting and lapidary work
* A mine shaft in the southeast corner of the caves leads to an abandoned mine shaft, a large tertiary area
