The Island of Kordan is the second of three islands linked to the mainland by an ancient portal system. Most people start on the first island, Sloe, and move on to Kordan as they gain levels. Kordan is most suitable for players between level 10 and 20.

The two major towns of Indira and Naphtali are shown in detail on this map. Also included are the locations of a number of villages and graveyards, as well as what little is known about the lost city of New Thalos.

A portal in Indira links to the town of Vemarken on the Island of Sloe. A similar portal in the town of Naphtali links to the town of Gad's Landing, on the Island of Archais.

The trade route map focuses more on roads and trails and is intended for merchants, travellers, and caravans. As with all sanctioned trade route maps, its accuracy was only guaranteed for a short time after it was issued.

# Coming from [[The Island of Sloe]] usually begins with aiding Beliana in [[The Town of Indira]] to cure a sick child which sends you down into [[The old Indira ruins]].
# From there Lady Angelia will send you to [[The G&K copper mine]] to help Kentwig quell a revolt or negotiate deal to end the strike.
# After resolving that issue Lady Angelia sends you to [[The Eastern Indira Forest]] to deal with the spider infestation
# After squashing the spiders you are sent to speak with Mayor Widgetbottom of the [[Gnomian Village]]
# After dealing with the mole issue for Mayor Widgetbottom the Hierophant from [[The Holy Grove]] a short way to the northwest requests your assistance with various undead problems. The Heirophant and priest of Bobcat charge you with carrying out various tasks in [[Ancalador, the stone Dragon]] to the north followed by the [[Kordan haunted hills]], [[The Haunted Crypts]], [[The New Thalos Graveyard]], and finally [[The city of New Thalos]] along The Haunted Highway
# Upon completing the task for the priest of New Thalos and returning to the Hierophant you will make a quick stop back at [[Gnomian Village]] to aid the brewmaster Poti with some rare alchemical ingredient collection in [[The Forgotten Muskeg]]
# Satisfied with the ingredients you've collected Poti asks you to deliver them to Balcara in [[Naphtali]], the largest and final stop on Kordan
# Balcara asks you to deliver a letter to the nearby bronzesmith, a friend of Kentwig, to scout a mine for any funny business. It turns out the mine has broken through to [[The underground city of Runn-Khal]] where Duergar haven't taken kindly to this imposition
# After surviving the duergar city the Captain of the Naphtali guard has heard reports of a missing person. The barkeeper at the Happy Clam has a lead and directs you to [[Maze of the black minotaur]] in [[The Kordwood]]
# The captain of the guard will now task you with rescuing the farmer's daughter in [[The Orc Village]]
# Having uncovered the plot by the orcs to raid the human towns of Kordan the captain asks that you continue the investigation by traveling to [[The Caves of Mendelius]]
# The plans of the demon Qoorik foiled for now a couple quests of significantly lower stakes point you to [[The Hidden Moogle Village]] to the north in [[Forest west of Naphtali|the forest around Naphtali]] and an [[Island near Kordan]] which you need to take a boat ride to.
# The ranger asks that you to help a little boy northwest of Naphtali to free his golden goose from [[The giant beanstalk]]
# Having helped the ranger with several tasks the captain of the Naphtali guard sends you to the cartographer who needs a map delivered to the [[Village of Idlewood]]
# After aiding Captain Bale to set the seven sisters free and returning to the captain of the guard you must investigate reports of undead sightings on [[Ancestral Island]]
# Ridding Ancestral Island of the death fungus your aid of the Island of Kordan is now complete. The captain of the Naphtali guard sends you to speak to Ranger Patch on [[The Island of Archais]]
