- New areas: The tunnels of the Kuo-toan tribe, The Ice Wastes, western Suboria, The Town of Northshore, The Lost Outpost, The Takari Trade Road, eastern Dunn Hurr, Gocholandia, Central Sloe, Shadowclaw swamp

- Increased boat gold and credit prices
- Allowed shadow strike to be used while tanking.

- New equipment set commands eqset rehome and eqset replace added.
- Major changes to the way drunkenness works.

- Added a milking achievement.
- Added a beak damage type.
March
- New areas: The Alarba desert, land of legends
- New druid spells walk on water, riptide, flood, maelstrom and the obscure spell fecundity
- St Pattie's day 2017 event.
- Limited max cost of a practice to 60 times your exp cap.
- Implemented visibility tracking for Alter Aeon's satellites. See 'help moons'.
- Extended sight increases the distance that one can scan.
- poison resistance skill no longer quest locked.
- Starcatcher fury detonations no longer gives mob death experience.
- Improved how double exp areas are selected.
- Allowed more damage types for bloodletting stab.
- Removed cooldown from flourish.
