Alter aeon has it's own internal time management system represented by a tick which advances the world forward by 10 minutes.
- 10 minutes is appropriately 30 seconds
- 1 hour is appropriately 3 minutes (6 ticks times 30 second)
- nighttime (9am-6am) is appropriately 27 minutes
- 12 hours is appropriately 36 minutes
- 1 day is appropriately 72 minutes
Time of day
- 6am-8am dawn
- 8am-12pm morning
- 12pm-2pm noon
- 2pm-7pm afternoon
- 7pm-9pm sunset
- 9pm-6am night
Time of day, weather and terrain are particularly important to the druid class, certain things like lightcatchers can only be charged at specific times.
Strings
The sky begins to lighten, indicating dawn is not far off.
The sun hangs low on the western horizon.
Server time
The server time is currently set to PST to match Dentins local timezone and to help while organizing event although the actually server is located outside this timezone.
